Photo Eye Sensor
This safety feature is an entrapment protection system, which will trigger an electrical switch to reverse the gate barrier when a beam of light is broken. Tilt-A-Way offers through beam and reflective beam options.
Reversing Edge Sensor
This safety feature is an entrapment protection system, which will trigger an electrical switch to reverse the gate barrier when it encounters an obstruction.
Reversing Loop Sensor
This safety feature is an entrapment protection system. A reverse loop will reverse a closing gate if a vehicle is detected. A reverse loop will also hold a gate open if a vehicle stops over the loop. If a gate is fully closed and a vehicle drives over a reverse loop nothing will happen, the gate will not open.
Gate Status Lights
This safety feature is a lighted visual of the gate barrier positioning, movement, or non-movement. A red light indicates the barrier is closed and stationary. A yellow flashing light indicates the barrier is in motion, opening or closing. A green light indicates the barrier is fully open and stationary. Tilt-A-Way offers stacked lights, or LED lights that are mounted on the barrier itself.
Emergency Stop Switch
This safety feature is a fail-safe control switch that, when activated, will immediately stop the barrier from any movement.
Radio Receiver and Transmitters
This access feature allows the gate barrier to be opened or closed using a wireless remote or keypad.
S.O.S. – Siren Operator Sensor
This access and safety feature enables emergency responders to access the gated property once the S.O.S. has recognized the “yelp” siren for 3 seconds.
Free Exit Loop Detector
This is an access feature. Exit Loops automatically open the gate when a vehicle drives over them, they also will hold a gate open and reverse a closing gate which means they can be used in place of an inside reverse loop.
Fail Safe Magnetic Locks
This is a security feature that is an electromagnetic plate installed on the end of a barrier and an armature plate that is secured to the drive surface. This locks the barrier in the down position.
Solar Powered Operator
This convenience feature is only available for our DCM model of operators.
Insulated Electrical Box and Heater
This performance feature prevents damage to the electrical components of the operator caused by extreme cold weather.
Cold Weather Package
This performance feature is ideal for ensuring your gate stays functional in inclement weather. For our hydraulic HYJG and Patriot PSB models of operators, the package includes a heater for the hydraulic fluid tank, an insulated cover for the tank and pump, heated hydraulic cylinders, and insulated covers for the hydraulic cylinders. For our mechanical DCM models of operators, the package includes a heater and insulated cover for the electric motor.
Extreme Cold Weather Package
This performance feature is only available for our hydraulic HYJG and Patriot PSB models of operators. The package includes a heater for the hydraulic fluid tank, an insulated cover for the hydraulic fluid tank and pump, heated hydraulic cylinders, insulated covers for the hydraulic cylinders, and heated hydraulic lines.
Ice Scrapers
This performance feature keeps the sheaves of the operator clear of obstruction from ice, snow, or other debris.
Operator Heat Mat
This performance feature is installed between the operator house and the concrete pad that it sits on. This prevents snow and ice accumulation in and around the operator and its moving parts.
Snow Control Package
This performance feature is installed on the top of the operator house. It’s designed to mitigate snow from entering the operator house.
Stainless Steel Fasteners
This performance feature increases the lifespan of the fastening components in the gate system by replacing standard fasteners with stainless steel fasteners.
Custom Designs
This feature is available upon request. Custom design examples can be a company logo, a ranch brand, or a neighborhood name. Ask us. We can probably incorporate your design or vision into the manufacturing of the barrier.
